Sydney, Australia

Sydney Opera House is one of the most popular landmarks in the region. It is a world heritage building. One of the things we recommend is a Sydney Opera house tour that runs daily from 9am-5pm. It is about an hour long, and is a great introduction to the history of the building, the architecture and the design. There are about 200 steps involved in the Sydney Opera House tour, but they also have access for people with mobility issues. They offer tour, dinner and performance packages that you can purchase that will allow you to visit the Opera house on one day, come back to see a show on another day and perhaps come back and have lunch at the Opera Bar which is one of their wonderful dining establishments. It’s a flexible pass and it’s easy to use and will give you plenty of opportunities to see the different facets of the Opera House. There is also a fabulous tour, called the backstage tour, which starts at 7am and ends at 9am, and you get to go behind the scenes of the Opera house, so you can see where the costumes and the sets are made. The Opera House has a lot to offer and definitely worth an inclusion in your Sydney and Australia itinerary.

Sydney is blessed with one of the most beautiful natural harbors and exploring the harbor is another must-do on your trip to Sydney. There are many ways to enjoy the Sydney harbor, from private sailing experiences to kayaking and cruising.

One of the things that we recommend all of our clients to do on their visit to Sydney is to take the bridge climb. This is a real fun thing to do, and it takes about three hours to complete. There is also an express climb which allows you to get to the top arch of the bridge in around 2 hours.

Another great spot to visit is Bondi beach. It is one of the most famous beaches in Australia; there is a beautiful coastal walk that will take you through beautiful sandstone cliffs, aboriginal rock art, and great cafes along the way. It is a great way to experience Sydney and see how the locals in Sydney live. You can stop by in Icebergs restaurant for some lunch or dinner with terrific views.

The Taronga zoo has recently opened up the wildlife retreat, which allows you to stay overnight at the zoo. This beautiful resort is set on the high hills of Taronga zoo overlooking the city.
